P6/7 had lots of Halloween fun on Friday. Pupils arrived in a variety of imaginative and very creative costumes, some of which had clearly required lots of hard work at home! Ms Wang came in for our Mandarin lesson, where we learnt about the Chinese performance art of ‘Changing Faces’. The pupils then created their own masks, inspired by those they had seen in the Changing Faces video.
After break we had some fun games and activities, with a few sweets thrown in too! Everyone got up to tell a joke, or in one case sing a song, to earn some extra sweets!
Our Halloween winners were….
Best fancy dress costume: Skye
Best carved pumpkin(s): Ruaridh
Best Halloween pop-up card: Erin-Louise
Splat the Pumpkin: Freya
