Yesterday P6/7 held a debate, discussing whether the general public should be allowed to buy fireworks.
One team argued that fireworks should be restricted to organised events and that their sale to the public should be banned. The other team argued that the law should not be changed. Both teams put across excellent arguments and spoke very convincingly, and when the class held a vote at the end, the result was a draw!
Today the class have been developing the arguments further in some persuasive writing.
