Holes Book Review by Daisy

Holes is a wonderful thrilling book filled with adventure, good characters and excitement .

In Holes there is a boy called Stanley who is taken to Camp Green  Lake (a place where you go if you have done a crime) even though he has not done any crime. All they do is dig holes. Stanley made lots of friends but his best friend is Zero (Hector).

One day Zero ran off and Stanley went after him. They made a quest to Big Thumb (a mountain), and all they ate was onions.

Once they got back Stanley fell in a nest of yellow-spotted lizards (poisonous )…..

I really liked the book although it was a bit confusing. My favourite part was at the end, it was very exciting but you must read it to find out what happens. I would definitely recommend it.
