Another busy day in P6/7 today! This morning we went down to Castle Roy to see the progress that has been made since the pupils were last there in P4/5. Richard gave us a tour of the castle, and we played some games with RSPB Ranger Sara White to teach us about wetlands. We also met Murdo the hairy coo and had time for a game of pooh sticks on the way down!
This afternoon Mrs Steven came in to talk to the class about her trip to Kenya in the summer with the scouts. We heard about the aid the scouts took out to help schools in the slums of Nairobi, and found out what life was like for school-children in Kenya. She brought in Kenyan crafts and showed us some fantastic photos, including some from their safari trip and from their trek up Mount Kenya.
